The "icons on the bottom of the screen thing" is often accomplished with Plank (http://wiki.go-docky.com/?title=Plank:Introduction
) (as it is in >>51
) . I don't know specifically what Itamae uses, but Conky (http://conky.sourceforge.net/
) can be used to achieve that same kind of cool matrix-y system information.
Thanks, I'm using Cairo Dock for now, because it was easier to find and install. I'm digging it so far. Most of my current rice was inspired by this guy's buildhttps://www.reddit.com/r/unixporn/comments/3h5pvx/xfce_dark_and_flat_and_whatever/>>54
I don't really play a lot of games, plus I just got this laptop, so my folder's pretty haggard right now. Normally, there would be a copy of WINSPMBT in there, but I haven't gotten around to installing it. I only end up playing that when I'm really
bored, because it takes forever
to actually get through a match.
post OS, WM, etc pls
nice, I was aiming to set up something similar as soon as my computer is working again. Was the i3 config hard? I have close to no experience myself ;_;
There are still things I want to change.
It's better than >>33
it's super easy to setup.
just make sure to compile air-bladder's i3 for the gaps.
Cave Story is amazing!
One of my favorite games.
Ah man, cave story is fucking great. I remember playing it on my PSP. Good times.
Just installed muh dark gtk theme for maximum /g/.>>69
Nice mothra. Who invited 9fans?
I'm a person who generally makes it a rule of thumb to keep ass and desktops seperate, but this is really nice. Sauce pretty please?
>>124>that lain one
Using that for my wallpaper now, thanks Sushi Roll.
Sashimi-sama, where do I find more anime grils in space?
How do you guys configure your browser to look like that?
or kitra (i heard they're adding animation features in their Saba/nightly release
it's weird to have such a minimalist desktop but then your toolbar is littered with stuff.
maximum comfy has been achieved>>34
if it works for you, thats all that matters
thanks man but my mom saw the anime feet folder and took my computer away
using this for now
I want this background… please…

This is my current rice.>>160
That's hawt. Theme name, please?

>>125>Saint Pepsi>Drives a Silvia
I thought I was the only one…
My daily runner, non-riced. It's a Debian 8 netinstall with MATE and few other things.
>hurr durr Spotify and Fireweasel in other workspaces
I actually use Links2 and Goggles Music Manager (*not GOOGLE, GOGGLES*) for normal use, I just have my bloated crap open tonight for kicks.
I'm a cybersecurity engineer at a small tech startup by day and grad student by night so I have very little time to rice my desktop, although I was into that back when I was in High School. (Slackware and Crunchbang were my beat back then!)
You don't have to justify for not ricing your stuffs, if it works for you that's great then.
Personally I can't manage to use anything else than i3 even if I miss some bell and whistles (menu, icons, min/maximize windows) but other than that it works as mush as another desktop env to get shits done.
Alright, so here's all of the Ilya Kuvshinov stuff I have: http://imgur.com/a/qMrBE
And here's all the 88 Girl ones: http://imgur.com/a/mliT4
(Sorry for the double post)
Simple and effective.
this is oddly cozy in a very cool and calm way
I know that's some kind of data center, but it reminds me of the basement in the first Resident Evil movie.
I really don't like it … just too minimalist for me ( and i'm using Arch so ).
Why not use Windows's icons? They can't be hard to find, right?
Thanks for the wallpaper senpai!>>42
I know this feel. I just can go back to windows for real work other than my cube. The overlords demand maximum soul sucking.
How come your running firefox almost stock?
I havent had the time to play with it other than a few stock CSS templets for *chan. I spend most of waning hours off work trying to get some sites built for my Pi.
I do have a palemoon build on my laptop that is almost unusable to any one else that I built when I was unemployed last year. I miss it.>>320
Looks nice, is that 7?
Pretty stock, but very comfy.
I'm using XFCE with the axiomd theme.
Fun fact, I'm actually >>34
. I ditched GNOME for XFCE and I've loved it ever since.
