Hey /lounge/, as you probably know the TPP will be coming soon(rumored to be one month after christmas). Tt'll make it very hard to "pirate" stuff and even chans can be sued for "copyright infringement" if you post copyrighted pictures.
TL;DR we're fucked.
Thinking about ways to circumvent it the Rainbow Rolls over 8/a/ started this project. We plan on storing a bunch of shit(anime, games, books and everything we can get out hand on) and sharing it over i2p, which's like an upgraded TOR that allows torrenting and has a bunch of other features.
Right now we don't have much since we are still spreading it around and planning, but still, we would like your help.

You "can" indefinitely detain everyone who uses an imageboard for being an "extremist", but that clearly hasn't happened.
TPP is shit, yes, but it's not as if anime subs are going to die out from it.

Anyhow, it's good that we're doing this. There are a bunch of internet censorship happening world-wide, not just against piracy. Having a safe heaven of sorts should help, even if a bit.

I don't want to put lemons into your milk, but there is so much to safe, that you would need thousands of people to archive at least some availability of the stuff.

It is like one would try to safe the digitized cultural output of the whole world. You can't do that without bloating up storage and traffic to conspicuous size. Nonetheless all honor to that noble attempt. I will contribute at some point.

It seems that this board has been abandoned. The goal was never realistic anyway, and it would have been more productive to just raise awareness and encourage people to archive things.
